...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM MST /9 AM MDT/ TO 7 PM
MST /8 PM MDT/ TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph
expected.

* WHERE...Navajo Nation in Arizona, Mogollon Rim, Yavapai County,
Kaibab Plateau, Marble and Glen Canyons, Grand Canyon Country,
Coconino Plateau, White Mountains, and Oak Creek and Sycamore
Canyons.

* WHEN...From 8 AM MST /9 AM MDT/ to 7 PM MST /8 PM MDT/ Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could snap resulting in a few power outages. Travel will be
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Patchy blowing
dust will lead to reduced visibilities, resulting in hazardous
driving conditions at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Secure loose outdoor objects that could be blown around or damaged
by the wind.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles, such as RVs, campers, and tractor trailers. Use
extra caution.

...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM MST /NOON MDT/
TO 7 PM MST /8 PM MDT/ TUESDAY FOR THE WHITE MOUNTAINS NORTHWARD
TO THE CHUSKA MOUNTAINS...

* AFFECTED AREA...Locations near Alpine, Buffalo Pass, Eagar-
Springerville, Ganado, Holbrook, Pinetop-Lakeside, Saint
Johns, Show Low, Snowflake-Taylor, Tuba City, Whiteriver,
Window Rock and Winslow. This includes portions of the Apache-
Sitgreaves National Forest.

* WINDS...Southwest 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 70 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 9 percent.

* IMPACTS...The combination of gusty winds and low humidity can
cause fires to rapidly grow in size and intensity before first
responders can contain them.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring or are imminent. A combination of strong
winds and low relative humidities can contribute to extreme fire
behavior.
