Some low-water crossings may become inundated with water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 944 PM MST, Several stream gauges report elevated flow extending from the New River down into the Agua Fria. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.25 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Maricopa County in south central Arizona... * Until 1145 PM MST. * At 935 PM MST, Emergency management reported a water rescue near 14th Street and Paint Your Wagon Trail in Carefree. A stream gauge at Skunk Creek near Carefree Highway remains above action stage. Between 0.5 and 1.25 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Emergency management reported.
