...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 AM MST THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues now until 1015 AM MST. * WHERE...A portion of South Central Arizona, including the following counties, northern Pima and south central Pinal. * WHEN...Until 1015 AM MST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 755 AM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to heavy showers and thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 0.8 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Santa Cruz River, Sutherland Wash, Chalk Creek, Oro, Cañada del, Guild Wash, Robles Wash, Los, Indian Well Wash, Chirreon Wash and Big Wash. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
