Southwestern Pinal County in southeastern Arizona... * Until 845 PM MST. * At 722 PM MST, an area of blowing dust was located 9 miles south of Santa Rosa, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Less than one mile visibility. SOURCE...Detected by National Weather Service meteorologists. IMPACT...Hazardous travel. * Locations impacted include... Ajo, Eloy, Santa Rosa, Picacho, Pisinemo, Chui-Chu, GuVo, Hickiwan, San Isidro, Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, Covered Wells, Anegam, Cockleburr, San Simon, Why, North Komelik, Kohatk, Palo Verde Stand and Fresnal. This includes the following highways... Route 85 between mile markers 33 and 72. Route 86 between mile markers 53 and 111...and between mile markers 120 and 129. ...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM TO 5 PM MST SUNDAY... * WHAT...South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected. * WHERE...A portion of south central Arizona. * WHEN...From 8 AM to 5 PM MST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Difficult driving conditions, especially for larger vehicles traveling along roads with crosswinds. Light, unsecured objects may become airborne. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Wind Advisory means that sustained wind speeds of between 30 and 40 mph are expected, or wind gusts of between 40 and 58 mph. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. In addition, strong winds over desert areas could result in briefly lowered visibilities to well under a mile at times in blowing dust or blowing sand. Use extra caution. &&
