* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by heavy rain over the past 36
hours continues.

* WHERE...Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona.

* WHEN...Until 545 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 336 PM MST, The Vamori Wash is at 9.64 feet, slightly below
flood stage of 9.80 feet and slowly falling. This will cause
small stream flooding and could cause impacts at the Highway 21
bridge and downstream to the International Border.
- Vamori Wash at Highway 21 bridge is the most likely place to
experience minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...

* WHERE...East Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
Northeastern Santa Cruz County in southeastern Arizona...

* WHEN...Until 545 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 247 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.7 and 1 inch of rain has
fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Mainly rural areas of East Central Pima and Northeastern Santa
Cruz Counties.
- This includes Route 83 between mile markers 37 and 41.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Remain alert for flooding even in locations not receiving rain.

matter of minutes, even from distant rainfall.
