* Until 900 PM MST.

* At 610 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
between 1 and 2 inches of heavy rain across the northern portions
of the Tohono O'odham Nation. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly,
especially along the drainages that drain into Sil Nakya Wash and
Santa Rosa Wash. Portions of Route 15 north of Santa Rosa may be
impacted.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Until 815 PM MST.

* At 518 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain over Lower Fresnal Wash located in southern Tohono
O'Odham Nation. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly, especially along
Route 20 near Cowlic.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Vamori and Cowlic.

* Until 745 PM MST.

* At 442 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
between 1 and 2 inches of heavy rain along and near Route 35
between Santa Rosa and Queens Well in the northern portions of the
Tohono O'odham Nation. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly, especially along the San Vicente and Anegam Washes
that drain into Aguirre Wash.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

MST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures up to 110
expected.

* WHERE...Baboquivari Mountains, South Central Pinal County,
Southeast Pinal County, Tohono O'odham Nation, Tucson Metro Area,
Upper Gila River Valley, Upper San Pedro River Valley, Upper Santa
Cruz River Valley/Altar Valley, and Western Pima County.

* WHEN...From 10 AM Friday to 8 PM MST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat events.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
emergency! Call 9 1 1.

Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When
possible, reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or
evening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat
stroke. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing when possible
and drink plenty of water.
