Between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of rain was estimated by radar earlier. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain from earlier producing flash flooding in and around the Washington Fire scar. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the Washington Fire scar. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Washington Park and Whispering Pines. This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds... Shadow Rim Ranch. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... This is a life threatening situation. Heavy rainfall will cause extensive flash flooding of creeks...streams...and ditches in the Washington Fire scar. Debris flows can also be anticipated across roads.
