The Flood Watch is cancelled for a portion of south central Arizona, including the following areas, Aguila Valley, Buckeye/Avondale, Cave Creek/New River, Central Phoenix, Deer Valley, East Valley, Fountain Hills/East Mesa, Mazatzal Mountains, New River Mesa, North Phoenix/Glendale, Northwest Valley, Rio Verde/Salt River, Scottsdale/Paradise Valley, South Mountain/Ahwatukee, Southeast Valley/Queen Creek, Tonopah Desert and Tonto Basin. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat tonight, but another round of storms with heavy rainfall is expected Sunday evening.
