...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM MST THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH 11 PM MST THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Eastern Pima county including the Tucson Metro Area, Santa Cruz, Cochise Counties and the valleys of Graham and Greenlee Counties. * WHEN...From 2 PM MST this afternoon through 11 PM MST this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive rainfall runoff may result in flash flooding of normally dry washes, roadway dips and other low-lying areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected this afternoon into this evening. ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 PM MST THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...The Brawley Wash in North Central Pima County. * WHEN...Until 1215 PM MST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 821 AM MST, a stream gauge reported a heavy flow of rainfall runoff along the Altar Wash south of Three Points this morning. This flow will drain into the Brawley Wash and impact low-lying and poor drainage areas north of Highway 86 with small stream flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Three Points and Tucson Estates. - This includes the following highways... Route 86 between mile markers 147 and 150. Route 286 between mile markers 28 and 42.
