...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM CDT MONDAY THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...A portion of central Alabama, including the following counties, Autauga, Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Etowah, Hale, Jefferson, Lowndes, Marengo, Montgomery, Perry, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Tuscaloosa and Walker. * WHEN...From 10 AM CDT Monday through Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of locally heavy rainfall are expected to continue Monday and Tuesday in addition to rainfall that has fallen the past couple of days.
