At 831 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Bull City to near Greensboro. Movement was
northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Alabaster, Bessemer, Homewood,
Pelham, Mountain Brook, Helena, Hueytown, Irondale, Fairfield,
Montevallo, Brent, Centreville, Pleasant Grove, Midfield, Brighton,

as low as zero expected. For the second Cold Weather Advisory,
very cold temperatures as low as 6 above expected.

* WHERE...Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Chilton, Clay,
Cleburne, Coosa, Etowah, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lamar,
Marion, Perry, Pickens, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter,
Talladega, Tallapoosa, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Winston Counties.

* WHEN...For the first Cold Weather Advisory, from midnight tonight
to 10 AM CST Monday. For the second Cold Weather Advisory, from 9
PM Monday to 9 AM CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures. An extended period of
subfreezing temperatures could cause pipes to burst.
