At 714 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Chilton County Motor Sports Park, or 9 miles south of Jemison, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Clanton, Jemison, Thorsby, Maplesville, Billingsley, Pooles Crossroads, Plecher, Chilton County Motor Sports Park, Isabella, Lomax, Stanton, Dawson Mill, Cooper and New Prospect. This includes the following highways... US Highway 82 between mile markers 101 and 122. Interstate 65 between mile markers 195 and 208...and between mile markers 215 and 216.
