...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM EDT /7 AM CDT/ THIS
MORNING THROUGH LATE FRIDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Alabama, southwest Georgia, and the
Florida Panhandle.

* WHEN...From 8 AM EDT  /7 AM CDT/ this morning through late Friday
night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are expected from today
through Friday. Rainfall amounts of 3 to 7 inches are
expected with locally higher amounts likely. Reasonable high-
end totals of 8 to 12 inches are possible. High rainfall
rates will increase the chance of dangerous to life
threatening flash flooding.
