...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Alabama, including the following
county, Mobile.

* WHEN...Until 1000 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 649 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain in slow-
moving storms. Minor flooding is ongoing in the advisory
area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen over
locations that had significant flash flooding yesterday.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Saraland, Chickasaw, Satsuma, Semmes, Tanner Williams, I65
And AL 158, Lott, Mauvilla, Kushla, Millertown, Oak Grove,
Eight Mile, Whistler, North Mobile and Mackies.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Alabama, including the following
counties, Baldwin and Mobile.

* WHEN...Until 900 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 553 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain in slow
moving storms. Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly in
the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have
fallen with rain repeatedly moving over the same locations
that had significant flash flooding yesterday.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Stockton, I65 And AL 225 and Vaughn.
