...A strong thunderstorm will affect North Mobile Bay... South Mobile Bay... Until 215 PM CDT.... At 118 PM CDT...A strong thunderstorm was located over Point Clear. This storm was nearly stationary. Locations impacted include... Gaillard Island, Weeks Bay, East Fowl River Bridge, Fairhope Pier, Middle Bay Light, Alabama Port, Point Clear, and eastern Heron Bay. The primary threats from this storm are wind gusts up to 30 knots... locally higher waves...and heavy downpours. Boaters should consider seeking safe harbor until this storm has passed. Small hail is also possible with this storm. Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the open water stay below deck if possible and keep away from metal objects.
