At 529 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Boley Springs, or 18 miles southwest of Cordova, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Northeastern Tuscaloosa, Northport, Jasper, Sumiton, Cordova, Dora, Carbon Hill, Holt, Adamsville, Graysville, Sylvan Springs, Brookside, Berry, Parrish, Oakman, Maytown, West Jefferson, Gorgas Steam Plant, Bull City, and Samantha.
