Snow and sleet accumulations 0.5 to 1 inch possible. * WHERE...Blount, Cherokee, Etowah, Fayette, Lamar, Marion, Walker, and Winston Counties. * WHEN...From Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Expect power outages and tree damage due to the ice. Travel could be impossible. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation. Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely necessary, drive with extreme caution.
