Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. * WHERE...Bering Strait Coast and Diomede. * WHEN...Until 6 AM AKST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Travel may be very difficult. Areas of blowing and falling snow could significantly reduce visibility to 1/4 mile or less at times. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Northeasterly winds strengthen Tuesday morning ahead of snow building in overnight Tuesday. Winds shift northerly and strengthen Tuesday night into Wednesday before weakening Wednesday evening. Visibility will fall significantly once falling snow reaches the area overnight Tuesday.
