...STRONG OUTFLOW AND FREEZING SPRAY FOR INNER CHANNELS... Outflow has begun to return to the Panhandle Sunday afternoon. Northerly winds will continue to build to near gale force by the evening, spreading south and increasing to gales through Sunday night. Peak wind speeds of strong gale force are likely sometime Monday evening into Tuesday morning. The strongest winds are expected in Lynn Canal and northern Stephens Passage. Outflow conditions of varying intensity will continue through the week. Freezing spray increases in coverage and intensity Monday, continuing through the week as very cold temperatures move down the Panhandle. Heavy freezing spray is likely in Lynn Canal and Taku Inlet, with moderate to light freezing spray moving down Chatham and Stephens passage. Continue to monitor NOAA Weather Radio for updates as we monitor the progression of this system through the next 24 hours..
