...Stormy Pattern Upcoming Late This Week into Early Next Week...

A moist Pineapple Express pattern will develop late Friday and
persist through early next week, which will come in several waves
of moisture from the Pacific. Currently, heavy snow looks to be
the main weather impact, although some locations may see brief
periods of rain and freezing rain, especially across the Lower
Yukon Valley and the Middle Kuskokwim Valley.

...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO
MIDNIGHT AKST WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills between 40 to 50 below zero
expected.

* WHERE...Eastern Norton Sound and Nulato Hills.

* WHEN...Midnight Wednesday to midnight Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The cold wind chills will cause frostbite
in as little as 10 minutes to exposed skin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and sustained wind
speeds of 15 mph or more will create low wind chills. Frost bite
and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken.
