...WINTER STORM WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM SUNDAY TO MIDNIGHT
AKST MONDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and
10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Eastern Norton Sound and Nulato Hills, Interior Seward
Peninsula, and Southern Seward Peninsula Coast.

* WHEN...From 6 PM Sunday to midnight AKST Monday Night.

* IMPACTS...Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce
visibility.

Additional Details: There will be a first round of snow Sunday
morning bringing 1 to 3 inches of snow. Then, a stronger front moves
in Monday morning with heavier snow with additional accumulations of
4 to 7 inches. Gusty winds will be accompanied with the second round
of snow resulting in areas of blowing snow. Visibility may be
reduced to 1/2 or 1/4 mile at times.
