...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 5 PM
AKST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold air temperatures as low as 15 to 25 below zero
with wind chills as low as 35 to 45 below zero.

* WHERE...Inland Bristol Bay and Interior Kuskokwim Delta.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 5 PM AKST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 45 below zero
could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes.
Frostbite and hypothermia are likely if exposed to these
temperatures.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures get colder through the weekend,
with low temperatures falling to 20 to 25 below zero tonight and
Saturday night. Temperatures then warm Sunday night into Monday as
clouds increase and snow develops across the Kuskokwim Valley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
