...HIGH WIND WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM AKST MONDAY... * WHAT...Northeast winds 35 to 55 mph with gusts up to 90 mph expected. Wind chill values falling to between -10 and -20F by Sunday evening. * WHERE...Matanuska Valley. * WHEN...Until 1 PM AKST Monday. * IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property, and cause power outages. Travel will be difficult. Cold temperatures combined with strong winds could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong northeast winds will continue through Monday morning. Areas of blowing snow and dust with reduced visibilities are possible. There may be brief periods where winds and gusts diminish slightly Saturday evening and Sunday evening. However, very strong winds and gusts will persist through the weekend. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
