Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...Western Kenai Peninsula. * WHEN...Until 9 PM AKST this evening. * IMPACTS...Visibilities reduced to one half mile or less due to blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional snow showers and a shift in the wind from north to south is expected this evening.
