* WHAT...For the High Wind Warning Thursday evening through Friday
morning, northeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
expected. For the Cold Weather Advisory Thursday evening through
Sunday morning, dangerously cold wind chills as low as 15 below
expected. For the High Wind Watch Saturday morning through
Sunday morning, northeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 60
mph possible.

* WHERE...City and Borough of Juneau.

* WHEN...For the High Wind Warning, from 6 PM this evening to 6
AM AKST Friday. For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 6 PM this
evening to noon AKST Sunday. For the High Wind Watch, from
Saturday morning through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...High winds will blow around unsecured objects and
may damage property and cause power outages. Travel will be
difficult. Frostbite and hypothermia are possible if exposed
to these temperatures.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strengthening critical layer Thursday
evening will set the stage for stronger wind gusts to reach the
surface in Downtown Juneau, as the mountain wave strengthens.
While the critical layer and cross barrier flow will weaken
somewhat Friday morning through Friday night, they will re-
intensify beginning Saturday morning.
