* WHERE...Cape Decision to Cape Edgecumbe out to 15 NM.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, from 6 PM this evening to
3 AM AKST Tuesday. For the Gale Warning, from 3 AM to 6 PM
AKST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

An additional system will slide north along our coast Tuesday
afternoon, bringing southeasterly strong gale force sustained
winds, with gusts to storm force, into Wednesday night. As winds
increase, fresh southerly seas will also build to near 20 to 25 ft
for the majority of our coastal zones.

WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Southeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph
expected.

* WHERE...City and Borough of Sitka.

* WHEN...From 9 PM Tuesday to 9 PM AKST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
Travel by land, air, and marine may be difficult in strong
wind.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Multiple systems will push into the
panhandle through mid week with rounds of strong to high wind
gusts expected. The first round of strong winds will begin
tomorrow night after 9pm and continue through Tuesday evening. A
brief lull is expected late Tuesday night before another round
of strong wind gusts start again Wednesday morning through
Wednesday evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
