...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM AKST THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Snow and blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations up to 8 inches. Visibilities reduced to one half mile or less due to blowing snow. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph. * WHERE...Southern Alaska Peninsula, including the communities of False Pass, Cold Bay, King Cove, Sand Point, and Nelson Lagoon. * WHEN...Until 11 PM AKST this evening. * IMPACTS...Visibilities reduced to one half mile or less due to blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong northerly winds combined with the snow will lead to significant visibility reductions. Visibility improves through Saturday afternoon and evening as snow tapers off, though winds may continue to loft snow through the overnight hours. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
