A storm system tracking east across the Arctic Ocean brings
rapidly warming temperatures and snow chances to Interior Alaska
by Thursday night. Steady snowfall is increasingly likely across
the south-central Interior on Friday, before ending Friday night
into Saturday morning. Below normal temperatures are likely to
return by early next week.

...AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM AKST WEDNESDAY...

The Department of Environmental Conservation has issued an Air
Quality Alert which is IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM AKST WEDNESDAY.

Fairbanks has a Stage 2 alert.

North Pole has a Stage 2 alert.
