...Frost Possible Across Low Interior Valleys Monday Morning... A very cold upper level Arctic low dropping south over the Western Interior will bring an anomalously cold airmass to the area through the weekend. There will be clouds, periods of precipitation and even periods of snow above 2000 feet, but low- lying areas that clear during the overnight and early morning hours will see temperatures drop quickly into the low to mid 30s. Cloud cover increases across the Interior Saturday afternoon which will significantly limit early Sunday morning cooling keeping low temperatures in the upper 30s and 40s, but isolated areas that clear may still develop frost. Frost becomes more likely Monday morning as cloud cover dissipates. Frost is unlikely for all but the lowest lying valleys and along rivers.
