...LIGHT WINTRY MIX THIS MORNING CHANGING TO LIGHT SNOW BY AFTERNOON... A light wintry mix of freezing rain, sleet, and snow is falling across portions of the Anchorage Bowl and Western Kenai Peninsula this morning. This wintry mix will continue through noon or early afternoon before changing to all snow. Ice accumulations of a trace to a light coating of glaze ice is possible. Any freezing rain on already wet or untreated surfaces may result in slick conditions. Slow down and use caution while traveling. For the latest road conditions call 5 1 1 or visit 511.alaska.gov. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaceS could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.

Precipitation will mix with sleet or snow at times and is expected to completely change over to snow by this afternoon. Surface temperatures will remain steady right around 32 degrees.
