...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM AKST THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Snow. Total snow amount 2 to 6 inches. Visibility as low as one half mile in heavy snow showers. * WHERE...NW Kenai Peninsula and SW Kenai Peninsula. * WHEN...Until 8 AM AKST this morning. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute. Visibility in heavy snow may fall to below one half mile at times. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A persistent band of moderate to heavy snow will remain along the immediate western Kenai Peninsula coast through early Thursday morning. Expect snowfall rates within this band of up to two inches per hour. The greatest snow accumulations are expected from Ninilchik north to Nikiski. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
