* At 752 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 12 nm west of Kenosha to 8 nm west of Pleasant
Prairie to 10 nm west of Winthrop Harbor, moving northeast at 45
knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.

* Strong thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.

TUESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding is possible.

* WHERE...Fox River Lower near New Munster.

* WHEN...From Saturday morning to early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 11.5 feet, Water is in the yards of some homes in the
Village of Salem Lakes and Town of Wheatland areas, including
Riverside Dr and Shorewood Dr. There are 3-4 inches of water over
77th Street in the Town of Wheatland.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.7 feet.
- Forecast...Flood stage may be reached Saturday morning.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, southeast winds 10 to 20
knots becoming south winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt
and waves 4 to 6 ft. For the Dense Fog Advisory, dense fog will
reduce visibility to less than 1 NM.

* WHERE...Nearshore Waters from Wind Point to Winthrop Harbor IL.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 4 AM CDT Friday.
For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. Low
visibility will make navigation difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

If you must navigate, proceed with caution. Use proper fog
