...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 AM CST THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
counties, Concho, Menard, Schleicher, Sutton and Tom Green.

* WHEN...Until 730 AM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 427 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Sonora, Eden, Millersview, Live Oak, Adams, The Intersection
Of Us-190 And Ranch Road 2084, The Intersection Of Ranch Road
2596 And Ranch Road 864 and The Intersection Of Us-83 And
Ranch Road 765.
- This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 400 and 417.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
County Road 2019 crossing Brady Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
