...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Angelina River near Lufkin.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 165.0 feet, Expect flooding to continue for several
days with the majority of the gravel access roadway flooded.
Boaters and four wheel-operators should use caution traversing
both upstream and downstream on the Angelina River as currents can
become swift and turbulent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 165.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 165.4
feet this afternoon. It will then rise to 165.7 feet tomorrow
evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
- Flood stage is 161.0 feet.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Texas, including the following
county, central Angelina.

* WHEN...Until 230 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1132 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor
flooding in the advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lufkin and Hudson.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of east and northeast Texas, including the
following counties, in east Texas, Angelina, Nacogdoches, Sabine,
San Augustine and Shelby. In northeast Texas, Cherokee, Gregg,
Harrison, Panola, Rusk and Smith.

* WHEN...From 7 AM CDT this morning through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
