The National Weather Service in Lubbock has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from 10 AM to 7 PM CST Thursday. a
Fire Weather Watch has also been issued. This Fire Weather Watch
is in effect from Friday morning through Friday evening.

* Timing...For Thursday, 10 AM until 7 PM for the Red Flag
Warning. For the Fire Weather Watch, late Friday morning through
the evening.

* Wind...For Thursday, West to northwest at 20 to 25 mph with
gusts to 40 mph. For Friday, West at 25 to 35 mph with gusts up
to 45 mph.

* Humidity...For Thursday, as low as 10 percent. For Friday, as
low as 12 percent.

* Fuels...Dry.

* Impacts...Any fires that develop can spread rapidly. Outdoor
burning is discouraged.
