...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL MONDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Neches River near Alto.

* WHEN...Until Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Preparations should be completed for a
moderate flood. Barns and farm buildings near the river will be
threatened by high water. In addition, ranchers should have
completed moving cattle and equipment to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 19.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday morning and continue falling to 15.7 feet Sunday
evening.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Angelina River near Lufkin.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 165.0 feet, Expect flooding to continue for several
days with the majority of the gravel access roadway flooded.
Boaters and four wheel-operators should use caution traversing
both upstream and downstream on the Angelina River as currents can
become swift and turbulent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 166.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 164.6 feet Sunday
evening.
- Flood stage is 161.0 feet.

and equipment to higher ground away from the river.

- At 7:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 14.1 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:30 PM CDT Tuesday was 14.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 12.9 feet Sunday
evening.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
