...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Guadalupe River at Hunt.

* WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding reaches the
Highway 39 bridge floor two miles east of Hunt preventing easy
travel to western parts of the county. Areas of the headwaters are
isolated temporarily as low water crossings flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:05 PM CDT Monday the stage was 11.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 4:05 PM CDT Monday was 11.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 12.6 feet this evening. It
will then fall late this evening. It will rise to 12.1 feet
just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood
stage tomorrow afternoon.
- Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
13.5 feet on 12/21/1991.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Bandera, Blanco, Burnet, Edwards, Gillespie, Kendall,
Kerr, Kinney, Llano, Real, Travis, Uvalde, Val Verde and
Williamson.

* WHEN...Through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Locally heavy rain of 1-3 inches with isolated totals up to 6
inches.
