...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Northeastern Bell County in central Texas...
Falls County in central Texas...
Northwestern Milam County in central Texas...

* WHEN...Until 200 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not
be passable. Emergency management continues to report ongoing water
rescues due to the flooding. Expect localized areas of flooding to
linger through the afternoon as excess water continues to run off
from the overnight storms.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 122 PM CDT, emergency management reported ongoing flooding
across the warned area. Between 3 and 7 inches of rain have
fallen. Falls County Emergency Management has reported road
closures due to flooding for portions of Highway 53, FM 431, and
FM 1963.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Temple, Marlin, Cameron, Troy, Rosebud, Rogers, Lott, Golinda,
Chilton, Wilson, Yarrelton, Silver City, Jones Prairie, Leedale,
Edgeworth, Travis, Cedar Springs, Tomlinson Hill and Pleasant
Grove.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

near the river. Some rural roads will begin to flood.

afternoon and continue falling to 8.3 feet early Thursday
afternoon.
