* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Eastern Cameron County in deep south Texas...

* WHEN...Until 515 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 411 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

South Padre Island, Port Isabel City Hall, Port Isabel
Lighthouse, Port Isabel Fire And Police Department, Port Isabel
High School, Garria Elementary School, Washington Park, Laguna
Heights, South Padre Island Police Department, South Padre Island

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of Deep South Texas, including the following
areas, Brooks, Cameron Island, Coastal Cameron, Coastal Kenedy,
Coastal Willacy, Inland Cameron, Inland Kenedy, Inland Willacy, Jim
Hogg, Kenedy Island, Northern Hidalgo, Southern Hidalgo, Starr,
Willacy Island and Zapata.

* WHEN...Through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Along with heavy rain previously fallen, more heavy rainfall may
produce up to 2 inches, with pockets of 5 inches or more
possible. Rain rates may exceed 2-4 inches per hour at times.
