Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 3 inches are forecast. Flash flooding is already occurring with water rescues ongoing in and around the Mesquite area. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Dallas, Garland, Mesquite, Desoto, Cedar Hill, Rockwall, Lancaster, Balch Springs, Terrell, Seagoville, Forney, Glenn Heights, Hutchins, Heath, Sunnyvale, Wilmer, Ovilla, Crandall, Ferris and Combine.
