Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... ...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Brown, Callahan, Coke, Coleman, Concho, Kimble, Mason, McCulloch, Menard, Nolan, Runnels, San Saba, Taylor and Tom Green. * WHEN...Through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms will spread across much of West Central Texas through this evening. Most areas will see rain totals of 1 inch across the area, with pockets of heavier rainfall of 1 to 2 inches, and localized 3 to 5 inches are possible mainly across the Heartland and Northwest Hill Country.
