* At 433 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing a tornado
were located along a line from near Shanor-Northvue to over
Meridian, or along a line from 6 miles northwest of Butler to near
Butler, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught
without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or
destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will
occur. Tree damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
Butler, Homeacre-Lyndora, Shanor-Northvue, Meridian, Meadowood,
Oak Hills, Nixon, Chicora, East Butler, Bruin, Eau Claire,
Petrolia, Karns City, Fairview, West Sunbury, Cherry Valley,
Hooker and Moraine State Park.

Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built

* At 430 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Prospect, Plain Grove Township, West Liberty, Portersville,
Moraine State Park, Cooper's Lake Campground, McConnells Mill and
