At 243 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but little to no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. Airport Weather Warning

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued an Airport Weather Warning for Will Rogers International Airport. A strong to severe thunderstorm cell currently over El Reno terminal tracking eastward will be moving across the KOKC terminal between 1:45 to 2:15 PM. Wind gusts of 50-60 mph will be possible under this storm cel.l as well as brief heavy rain, frequent cloud to ground lightning and nickel size hail will be possible. Expecting the storm cell to be exiting eastward away from the terminal around 2:45 to 3:00 PM.
