For the Gale Warning, west winds 25 to 35 knots with gusts up to 45 knots and waves 7 to 13 feet expected. * WHERE...The nearshore waters of Lake Erie from Vermilion OH to Ripley NY. * WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 10 AM EST this morning. For the Gale Warning, from 10 AM this morning to 10 PM EST this evening. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for hazardous conditions. &&

In Pennsylvania, Northern Erie and Southern Erie Counties. * WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 10 PM EST this evening. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest wind gusts will be located near the lakeshore late this afternoon and evening.
