Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches within the most persistent lake effect snows. * WHERE...Ashtabula Inland, Ashtabula Lakeshore, Cuyahoga, Geauga, and Lake Counties. * WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 10 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions with slower travel likely. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The greatest accumulations in Cuyahoga County will be across the eastern half of the county with amounts decreasing to 1 to 3 inches across the western half of the county. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution while traveling. ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM MONDAY TO 10 AM EST WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 24 below zero expected. * WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and northwest Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania. * WHEN...From 1 AM Monday to 10 AM EST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 24 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Low temperatures tonight into Monday morning will be in the single digits for most with wind chill values as low as 20 below. Low temperatures Monday night into Tuesday morning will be in the range of 5 above to 5 below zero with wind chill values as low as 20 below. Low temperatures Tuesday night into Wednesday morning will be the coldest of the stretch, ranging from zero to 13 below zero. Wind chill values will be as cold as 24 below, but could trend colder. Lingering cold with sub zero wind chills could continue through Wednesday night. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside. To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to drip slowly. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and unfrozen water. Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills inside. &&
