* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Low-lying areas unprotected by levees
begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 10.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 18.1 feet early Sunday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Monday
morning.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
