* WHERE...Missouri River at St. Charles.

* WHEN...Until Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Downstream near this stage, Missouri Route
H at Island Road and agricultural bottomland may begin flooding,
depending on Mississippi River flow and backwater.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 24.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage to 25.1 feet
this morning. It will then fall below flood stage to 24.5 feet
this morning. It will rise above flood stage again late this
morning to 25.3 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below
flood stage again just after midnight tonight.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY MORNING TO LATE SATURDAY
NIGHT...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at St. Louis.

* WHEN...From Thursday morning to late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, Floodwall at Lacledes Landing is closed.
Also at this level, the U.S. Coast Guard may prohibit all
recreational vessel traffic from just above the Chain of Rocks
Canal south entry to just below the mouth of the Meramec River.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 28.4 feet and rising.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
tomorrow morning to a crest of 30.4 feet early Friday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage late Friday evening.
- Flood stage is 30.0 feet.

- At 7:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 25.9 feet and rising.
- Recent Activity...The river rose above flood stage early in the
morning on April 29.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 28.4 feet
Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday
morning.
- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
