* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Michigan, including the following
counties, Lapeer, Macomb, Oakland and St. Clair.

* WHEN...Until 445 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 322 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain had ended
for most of the advisory area, but previous thunderstorms
produced up to 4 inches of rain. This will cause urban and
small stream flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Pontiac, Imlay City, Romeo, Oxford, Almont, Capac, Rochester,
Clinton Township, Armada, Memphis, Dryden, Emmett, Macomb
Township, Lum, Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, Attica, Lake
Orion, Brockway and Washington.

- At 315 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Warren, Troy, Southfield, Pontiac, Sterling Heights, Royal
Oak, Birmingham, Detroit Zoo, West Bloomfield, Farmington

AFTERNOON FOR NORTHWESTERN MACOMB AND NORTHEASTERN OAKLAND
COUNTIES...

At 304 PM EDT, the public reported flooding in Oakland Township from
thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the past several hours.
Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Storms have moved out of
the area, but additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches remain
possible in the warned area over the next hour. Flash flooding is
already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Public reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Romeo, Rochester, Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, Lake Orion,
Washington, Leonard, Stoney Creek Metro Park and Lakeville.
