...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Total accumulations of 3 to 6 inches with a rain and snow mix possible toward the I-69 corridor. Wind gusts increasing into the 30 mph range. * WHERE...For southeast Michigan along and north of the I-69 corridor across the Tri Cities and northern Thumb. * WHEN...Until 4 PM EST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Plan on hazardous travel, especially during the morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow in progress across the area reaches peak rate up to 1 inch per hour during the morning. All snow is favored toward the Tri Cities and northern Thumb with a rain snow mix at times toward the I-69 corridor. Northwest winds increase to gusts in the 30 mph range bring falling temperatures this afternoon as a cold front surges across the area. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
