* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow. Additional snow
accumulations between 1 and 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50
mph leading to blowing snow this evening. For the Winter Storm
Watch, heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow and sleet
accumulations between 5 and 12 inches and ice accumulations
between one tenth and a quarter of an inch possible. Locally
higher snow and ice amounts will be possible. Winds could gust as
high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...A portion of Northern Lower Michigan.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 2 AM EDT Saturday.
For the Winter Storm Watch, from late Saturday night through
Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening and Monday
morning commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
